Lovely class at Twist Yoga this morning while visiting my dad. It was a lovely flow with an ayurvedic focus on the fall transition. They did a great job making an out of town guest feel welcome and grounded. Sure miss my buddies at Sunrise though.
I write this blog not as a teacher or medical practitioner, just as someone who loves yoga. I've been practicing since about 1998 and have studied Kundalini, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyassa. I currently practice at a studio grounded in the Kripalu tradition.
When I'm not on the mat I am an ordained Unitarian Unilateralist minister and mother of one son. To me yoga is a microcosm of what it means to be alive in this world, and our practice teaches us lessons that reflect the nature of life itself.

Normally I'm very strict about not putting photos on my blog unless I took them myself. Not so for The Yoga Blog.
