IthacaFest
I love the pranadhanas. I mean, I know yoga is about form and alignment and self knowledge and health. It's also just beautiful. I love that live music and dance is happening right now just blocks from our home. I love IthacaFest. I love Ithaca.
I write this blog not as a teacher or medical practitioner, just as someone who loves yoga. I've been practicing since about 1998 and have studied Kundalini, Iyengar, Ashtanga and Vinyassa. I currently practice at a studio grounded in the Kripalu tradition.
When I'm not on the mat I am an ordained Unitarian Unilateralist minister and mother of one son. To me yoga is a microcosm of what it means to be alive in this world, and our practice teaches us lessons that reflect the nature of life itself.
Disclaimer
Normally I'm very strict about not putting photos on my blog unless I took them myself. Not so for The Yoga Blog.
